Autonome Walzen: (R)Evolution in road construction
Autonomous cars that move without human intervention are not yet part of everyday life, but they are already within reach. And in other areas of life, too, products and services related to autonomous driving or working are currently sprouting up like mushrooms; for example, robots for mowing lawns or cleaning windows. In the construction machinery industry, on the other hand, there have been only a few autonomous machines to date. However, assistance systems in the construction sector are conquering the equipment. In compaction technology, HAMM AG has always been one of the companies that set trends and use new technologies early on to further improve rollers. Now, the technology-focused company HAMM is once again setting the tone – this time in the development of autonomously driving compaction equipment. What is currently still taking place in the confined area of a test track is part of the future project „autonomous rollers“. It will be many years before HAMM rollers can drive and compact completely autonomously. But one thing has already been shown by the analyses and tests at HAMM: With autonomous rollers, the quality and efficiency of compaction can be noticeably increased.[/vc_column_text][thb_gap height=“30″][thb_gap height=“15″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][thb_gap height=“15″][thb_gap height=“15″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][vc_column width=“1/3″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=“1/3″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height=“50″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
