The revolutionary technology, which is only perceptible to the viewer at the direct points of contact with the machine, is formally supported by the outer appearance of the entire DV line in such a way that each machine equally encourages the viewer to take a seat. Fear of thresholds and contact with the revolutionary new operating and driving concept (for the first time, there is no longer a steering wheel) is avoided from the outset by the high degree of communicative transparency of the operating system. The formal design of the machines with their highly transparent, central glass cockpit adequately reflects this to the viewer.[/vc_column_text][thb_gap height=“10″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][thb_gap][thb_image alignment=“center“ img_size=“large“ image=“1100″][thb_gap height=“10″][vc_column_text]The design of the machines is intended to generate confidence – not to conceal from the operator the technical performance of his work equipment, as well as the high degree of comfortable operating safety, but to communicate this in a sustainable manner. The clearly arranged, inviting operator’s station supports this ambition with its clear division into a functional area and a control area in the arm consoles, which are always close at hand and within easy reach. At the touch of a button, it can be continuously rotated and moved into the most comfortable and favorable position for the operator and the respective work situation.[/vc_column_text][thb_gap height=“10″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][thb_gap][thb_image alignment=“center“ img_size=“large“ image=“1101″][thb_gap height=“10″][vc_column_text]
The design of the outer contour of the machines underlines this clarity and clarity through structuring (in material, shape and color). The additive overall structure essentially consists of the two turntable drums, the (here for the first time) inwardly open frame structure with a laterally sliding glass cab, the soundproofed engine underneath, and the water tanks in front of and behind the cab. They are molded parts made of environmentally friendly PE.
The conceptual clarity of the machines inevitably results in a new, high level of ease of maintenance and service.
Due to the even distribution of weight on the drums and the nature of movement on the construction site, this machine concept does not recognize a preferred „front“ and „rear“. The machines are therefore traditionally symmetrical in design. From the wealth of labor-saving innovations in detail, it is worth mentioning that the problem of adjusting the outside mirrors on the new DV line has been solved. The mirrors adjust automatically to the respective position of the driver’s platform. Such small detail solutions support the operator very actively in his work.
Although the three machines in the new DV line are very different in size, the variety of parts has been substantially reduced – not least thanks to their consistent design. This can be seen, for example, in the cabs, whose lateral silhouette is identical on all machines. Nevertheless, the cabins – which differ only in their width – always form a harmonious unit with the respective machine body and thus underline the closed appearance and the high recognition value of the entire machine line.[/vc_column_text][thb_gap height=“10″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][vc_column width=“1/3″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=“2/3″][thb_image alignment=“center“ image=“903″ img_size=“large“][thb_gap height=“10″][vc_column_text]IF Design Award Gold 2005[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=“1/3″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner][thb_gap height=“10″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=“2/3″][thb_image alignment=“center“ image=“905″ img_size=“large“][thb_gap height=“10″][vc_column_text]reddot Design Award 2004[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=“1/3″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner][thb_gap height=“10″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=“2/3″][thb_image alignment=“center“ image=“899″ img_size=“large“][thb_gap height=“10″][vc_column_text]Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2006 (nominated)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=“1/3″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner][thb_gap height=“10″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height=“50″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
